A native of Knoxville, TN, Craze joins Oakland after a highly successful stint as the Goalkeeper Coach for both the Shaw University women's and men's soccer teams. Over two years at Shaw (2023 and 2024), he helped lead Shaw to two USCAA National Titles, including the first championship in program history. Under his guidance, the team set a program record with 16 wins in 2023.
Craze also previously served as the Men's Soccer Goalkeeper Coach at Frostburg State University (2021-2023) and played a key role in the development of goalkeepers at Concord Christian School (2020-2021), where he helped the program reach its first-ever state quarterfinals.
His experience also includes a role as Vanderbilt University's Assistant Director of Operations in from 2019 to 2020, where he worked extensively with goalkeepers and provided film analysis. Additionally, he has coached at goalkeeper camps for the University of Tennessee, NC State, and UNC Greensboro.
